Now that you have mastered probabilities and probabilistic bits, you are ready to learn about quantum bits. Quantum bits are very similar to probabilistic bits – indeed, all you have to do is replace probabilities by quantum amplitudes. This week you will learn about the states of a quantum bit, the allowed operations, and the measurement for extracting information out of it.
